Trapopoly was born out of a desire to create an opportunity for the culture to engage with Black economics in a way that we can truly resonate with. It got its start through crowdfunding sponsorships from local Black-owned businesses—actual properties around the board game—in Mobile, Alabama. 

Created in 2020 by Jordan Perryman, Founder of Digital Revolution, Trapopoly brings everyone together through laughter and friendly competitiveness, while acknowledging our background and shared experiences. It was created for those who identify with the trap (in any capacity) and have an interest in playing culturally-curious, fun games. This board game is absolutely a game for the culture! It’s a celebration of creativity, community, and interrelationship through Black currency, so grab the gang and have some fun playing Trapopoly!
